How do you sell cloud based accounting software to people who don’t understand the importance of cloud based accounting software?



How we did it

Easy, we asked ourselves what outdated accounting software might look like, then introduced discerning business owners to them, online.

Meet Joy, Hercules86 & Dorris, the personified, slightly incompetent accounting software your business is probably running on.

Using a series of online videos & YouTube Pre-Roll Ads, we targeted busy business owners, financial directors and the occasional HR representative and showed them just how concerning their businesses could be when being handled by outdated accounting software.

Using buttons in the video, our audience were prompted to upgrade with Sage or be reminded later. Selecting the obvious choice caused the incumbent accounting software to explode into the shiny new Sage Pastel Accounting software & detail all that their new upgrade had to offer.



Results

Overall the campaign outperformed the industry standard CTR
by more than 3 times.

Video click through rates were
more than 66 times the industry standard.
